I finally picked up my new Stihl LawnGrips Pro 6 boots on Friday. I've been using the Pro shoes for many years so it's nice to see a new boot. First impressions: this boot feels like a hiking boot and the shoelaces look stronger.

Why I love these boots:
If you are in the market for great work boots, give these a try. I love them!
Download my FREE pdf report on conflicts between landscape trees and lawn care equipment. It's obvious our landscape trees receive a lot of abuse but we don't know how much. Now a study from New Zealand (2015) shed some light on this topic.
The key sections of the paper are "Implications of wounding" and "Recommendations".
Holding landscape workers accountable is one of those recommendations and I totally agree. Now that we have the scientific background we can use it to train new workers. Training is the key. Landscapers can not take liberties when they are doing lawn care maintenance.
